Alastair Majury is a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst and Data Scientist with a proven track record of success of over 10 years. Throughout his professional career, Alastair has had extensive experience in a variety of sectors, including planning, developing, implementing and delivering migrations, organisational change, regulatory, legislative, and process improvements. Through his Senior Business Analyst and Data analytical services for multiple global financial organisations, Alastair Majury has also covered the Challenger Bank, Retail Banking, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, and Life & Pensions sectors.

Over the past ten plus years, Alastair Majury has advanced his Senior Business Analyst and Data Scientist skills in across the UK financial services From Stirling to Edinburgh to London to Hove. Such services have been in partnership with global heads and senior managers, as well as at all levels that are required to deliver effective, lasting change. Over the course of his career, Alastair has proven his ability to develop pragmatic solutions to support operational functions time and time again.

Initially, Alastair Majury started his career within financial services at HSBC, a tier one investment bank, as a Market Data Administrator performing analysis in OTC Credit Derivatives space as well as business analysis and project management tasks. During his time with HSBC, Alastair quickly became a subject matter expert (SME) for both OTC Credit Derivatives and the systems and processes involved, which ultimately lead to both huge savings, and worldwide recognition with HSBC for his OTC credit derivatives specialist knowledge. From there, Alastair found himself working for a number of high profile financial services corporations, where he continued to effectively communicate complex requirements and solutions to all levels within organisations from Executive level to management, developers, and to end users.

As a Senior Business Analyst and Data Scientist, Alastair Majury thoroughly enjoys implementing process improvements that make life easier for both the staff involved as well as the customers. For Alastair, the spontaneity and ever-changing aspect of his career has been quite rewarding. Alastair has found that being in a position where every day, week, month, and year brings something different such that no two days are the same, has made his career continuously challenging and thus inspiring.
