A unique digital advertising agency called AdvertiseMint has launched it’s “Facebook For Good” campaign. This campaign basically provides free Facebook ad credits to non-profits, organizations or events that are making a difference in the world.
Everytime AdvertiseMint makes profit, they set aside a portion of their profits to help make the world a better place through Facebook ads. Organizations or individuals can apply for the program using the application found on the AdvertiseMint for Good website.
After the submissions are made, AdvertiseMint employees and clients will nominate their favorite charity, non-profit organizations or crowdfunding campaigns.
Every month, the top three causes are selected by the CEO and all employees vote on which one should receive a $250 – $2,500 Facebook ad credit along with complimentary managed advertising services by AdvertiseMint. These funds can be used to generate more awareness for the cause, drive attendance for an upcoming event or be used to help generate donations.
“We wanted a program that would allow us to use our talents in Facebook advertising to make the world a better place”, said Brian Meert, CEO of AdvertiseMint. “It’s important that we take time to help others and I’m excited that we can involve our team in the process.”
One of the first causes to win an award from AdvertiseMint is One Shake Is All It Takes 5K. This event will take place in Duluth, Minnesota on August 15 to help provide awareness for Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma, commonly known as Shaken Baby Syndrome.
“We’re excited to be selected for this award”, said Kortney Hamilton, founder of the One Shake Is All It Takes Walk/Run. “More than 4,000 infants suffer from Abusive Head Trauma every year and approximately 20% of confirmed cases end in fatality. With this program we hope to help build awareness about Shaken Baby Syndrome in local communities.”
