Lebanese Photographer Catches Mesmerizing Timelapse Of Milky Way [VIDEO]

lebanese photographer catches mesmerizing timelapse of milky way

The Milky Way is our home galaxy, the stellar city in which we reside. It’s enormous, containing a few hundred billion stars. It’s so spacious that even traveling at the speed of light, it would take more than 100,000 years to get from one side to the other. Capturing our galactic neighborhood on camera is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding experiences.

Focusing his camera on the Lebanese night sky July 18, Karim Ayoubi managed to capture the gracefulness of our galaxy as it danced across the heavens.

Karim is a strength and conditioning trainer with a love and passion for photography. He began learning about photography 4 years ago, and has since captured some incredible shots that he posts on his Instagram page, Moments Byte.

The timelapse was taken in Beqaa Sefrin using a Canon 80D and took around 2 hours to film.

  • Camera: Canon 80D
  • Aperture: 3.5
  • ISO: 5000
  • Shutter Speed: 15 Seconds
  • Equipment Used: Tripod
