WhatsApp Voice Calling Has Been Released & We Are Sending Invitations

[Update]: The invite feature has been disabled for the time being. So all those who have WhatsApp calling activated, can make WhatsApp calls to their family and friends, but will not be able to activate the calling feature on those phones.

After about a year of anticipation, WhatsApp has finally released its much anticipated VOIP service. The service is still in Beta but it is available for everyone on an invite basis. Invites are hard to find, because you have to receive a call from some one whom already got an invite; but lucky for you we are sending them out. You just have to follow the following steps:

1. Allow the instillation of apps from unknown sources on your Android device. Sorry iPhone owners you got left out. (Yes it does work on Blackberry devices)

2. Install the newest version of the app (2.12.7) – or whatever version you find latest via APKmirror.

3. Like/follow our pages on either Facebook or Twitter.

4. Send a screenshot of step three via Whatsapp to: +96170431408

5. Wait until we call you.

WhatsApp has introduced many changes this year, mainly a web client and voice calling. Oddly iOS users were left out on both of them. While iOS users have their sleek streamlined interface, Android users are getting more and more features. What the future holds for WhatsApp is unknown but from my brief time testing the new feature the future seems bright.
